Compassionate Cat Community Helps New Feline Pawrent Welcome Their Awwdorable Pirate Kitty, Proving Cat People Are the Most Wholesome Once and For All

It's official, we've answered the age-old question of "Who is the most wholesome on the whole internet?" - and the answer is cat people. Of course it's cat people. We deal with little fuzzy criminals that cause chaos all day, and yet, we love them more than life itself. We have the most compassion for our tiny little house goblins, and almost as much for the heartwarming people who choose to live with them (as if we had any choice in the matter…we all know that it's actually the cats that choose us).

One Redditor made a purrfectly sweet introduction of their new, precious pirate kitty, and the whole cat community came out to welcome them with pictures of their own cute pirate cats and others who just wanted to be friends. I don't have any info on what happened to her vision but it hardly slows her down. She was severely overweight but is on a strict diet, and she loves to run and play so losing weight won't be an issue! She is so trusting and loving, I can't get enough of her little meows and constant purring. She's a lap cat and has an outdoor catio where she can sunbathe and

As you embark on this amazing journey, I would love to hear updates, tips and tricks on how to acclimate kitties with vision challenges. My baby had vision issues later in life, but he was already acclimated to my parents' house. He lived to 20; and the litterbox, food, water, etc., were all in the same place for his entire life.
